Before and after K-Water
Lighthouse set up a live video editing activation to capture before and after clips of guests with their new look. We immersed guests in their own video shoots – intending to mimic that personal one-on-one experience when you visit a salon. Flashmat Videographer Nick encouraged guests to have fun with the camera – directing them to accentuate the hair’s volume and fluidity in each pose.
The before and after video clips were merged to create beautiful, branded video clips that could be shared instantly on social media. We kept videos to 10 seconds (ideal for Instagram Stories), and sent branded emails out instantly – which outlined the key event hashtags – making it a simple, quick process.
20 top influencers shared their videos on Instagram stories immediately, leading to a reach of approx. 3 million users seeing the content on Instagram with their #daretoshine hashtag.

Brownlights with Redken
Redken teamed up with well-renowned hairdresser Larry King at his Notting Hill Salon; inviting influencers and hair professionals to West London for an exclusive afternoon of hair-care with the new product.
We were there to capture the action with our Before and After live-editing video shoot; producing sleek 10 second video clips that incorporated Redken branding. Our videographer Nick directed the shoot to ensure guests flaunted their hair’s new found colour and anti-brass shine.
We estimated that approximately 640,000 users saw the videos on Instagram in one day. This was mainly fuelled by influencers sharing their videos to Instagram stories with specific hashtags.
