Instagram

An immersive video experience for the launch of Instagram's new vertical stories feature, designed for instant , high quality content sharing.

Brief

Instagram wanted an exciting and eye catching way to promote their vertical stories, using content creators and influencers at the Place To B Awards, with the intention of increasing awareness of the platform's newset feature and how to use it.

Idea

We partnered with Instagram to produce an immersive video experience. Guests created their own catwalk sequence, interacting with a mesmerising black and white LED lit set. We shot in high definition to capture high quality footage of guests, instantly editing footage with repeats, cuts, speed-ups and slow-downs via our bespoke software app. The guests received their videos and photos via email and Airdrop to share on their Instagram stories with accompanying music, GIFs, filters and hashtags immediately. We provided studio quality shooting in an instant, creating content for the next generation.

Results

During the event, some of Germany's top influencers and creators shared their content from our video experience with a reach of over 20 million impressions in Instagram. It was an incredibly successful launch of Instagram's most important interactive feature to date.
